IMPORTANT: due to the huge amount of emails we’ve received for the Surprise Mail, it may take a while to reply to you all, so we apologize for the delay.

PLEASE REMEMBER that in order to join the Surprise Mail section, it is REQUIRED some experience on the site (e.g. at least a swap joined, and contribution to a few topics) so, please DO NOT email us to be enrolled in the project if you’re a new member.

Thank you for your understanding!

We’re happy to announce that we’ve created a new section of the website!

Surprise Mail is a project that allows you to pick a random address to send someone a random letter or trinkets whenever you’re inspired, have things to say, or you’re just bored. All of it without deadlines, penpal commitments and just for the fun!
To grant everyone’s safety, the page will be protected by a password that will be shared only with the people interested in the project.
If you’d like to have your address listed and to have access to Surprise Mail, email us using the contact form on the website, include your address and let us know we have your consent to publish it in that section.

After a fairly long hiatus, the Postal Society is finally back and with a brand spanking new site!

We’ve abandoned Ning, and got our own little website without limitations. Amongst the new features, we can now enjoy a private messaging system, better organized forums with threaded comments, and a more functional achievement system.
(Read more about the new features here)

What hasn’t changed, is our main goal: to create an art-oriented snail mail community and find (pen) friends with our same interests. We cannot wait to get started again with fun challenges and swaps, and we hope you’ll hop on board with us on this new chapter for the Postal Society!

Please notice: after signing up, you’ll receive a confirmation email. Especially if you use Gmail, make sure to check your spam folder and to save our email address in your contact list to avoid this error in the future.

we're all postal here!
